Death of Pretty Boy Floyd Landmark
An interesting historical attraction in Beaver Creek State Park is the location where former "Public Enemy No. 1" Charles Arthur "Pretty Boy" Floyd finally met his demise by federal agents and the local police department. Today, a historical marker stands at the site where Floyd died.
Gaston's Mill
Located in Beaver Creek State Park, Gaston's Mill is one of the last functioning mills in Ohio. Original construction of the mill was completed in 1837. Eventually, after Beaver Creek State Park was created, efforts were made to restore and maintain the mill to its original specifications. Today, the mill is open to the public and grains can be purchased at the Trading Post in the Pioneer Village.
